This seminar is dedicated to analyzing the possibilities and limitations of using artificial intelligence systems as a tool and potential “co-author” in scientific publications. We will examine the historical background of the automation of intellectual labor, the types of tasks in which AI can realistically be applied (from data processing to assistance in writing text), the ethical and legal aspects of authorship and responsibility, as well as practical recommendations for transparently describing AI’s contribution in the methods, acknowledgments, and disclosure sections, taking into account current journal requirements.
